Susan's Story
Susan will be married 30 yrs Sept 15, 2020. She has one daughter Katherine (Kate) who graduated 2 yrs ago with a MBA from Sacred Heart University and who is now engaged to Mick Smith. Susan graduated from Andover College in Portland, ME 1989 with an Associate of Science- Accounting. She lost her dad in Nov 2016. Susan has one cat "Rusty" a 9 mth old," OH BOY what a Heller he is" and a chocolate lab Yukie 12 yrs old. She has lived in Saratoga Springs, Ny for 26 years. She has plans to move near Concord, NH in 2020 and build a new home. She has a younger sister Stephanie who lives in Athol, ID. She has 3 nephews, and 9 nieces that live around the country. She is a Certified Genealogist, from Boston University 2017. She loves 80's music, some country, and a live orchestra at SPAC.
In 2017 Susan passed three Ham Radio exams (Technician, General and Extra and now holds her father's Extra Class Ham Radio License (the highest license a citizen can get from the FCC) Her father earned his license when he was 11 yrs old in 1961, Callsign, K1RQ. cian License callsign KD2PEM. Her father made a monetary bet she couldn't pass the test. She studied 12 hours! Passed, BUT MOM had to fork over the $! Mom had studied for 3 months with a book! Her on her iPhone!
She and her husband Brian have visited several countries/Territories the past 30 yrs. Montego Bay, Jamaica 1990, San Juan, Puerto Rico, City of Krawkow, Poland, were we visited "Schindler's Factory" (from the movie Schindler's List) and was given a tour of the "Ghetto" We also visited the Panorama Raclawicka, Wroclaw, Poland, Berlin & Wittenberg, Germany, Where she and her husband visited the Berlin Wall, Check Point Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, and Auschwitz Concentration Camp, HORRIBLE PLACE!!! London, England, Paris, France, Toronto, Ontario, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Montreal, Quebec and in 2020 Key West, FL to the end of Rt.1 that begins in northern Maine.
