Susan's Story
Life
After graduating from U.C. Berkeley and earning
a teaching credential I taught for 6 years at
Woodrow Wilson H.S. in San Francisco.
Then I returned to grad school at the University
of Wisconsin, Madison, for my Ph.D.
I was at the University of New Mexico for a
year and then took a position at the University
of Illinois, where I remained until my retirement
in 2000.
I relocated to Arizona in 2002 and discovered that
I love the bright sunny days, blue skies, desert
heat and wildlife, and thousands of ca...Expand for more
cti.
I am a staunch advocate of retirement and have
found that there is now time to do all the things
that were on the "back burner" to be done "some
day" -- like reading mysteries, playing Internet
chess, becoming a better Bridge player and
spending leisure time with friends.
I would love to re-connect and catch up
with fellow classmates from George Washington
High (class of 1955-58) and also would love to
hear from former students from Woodrow Wilson
High School, where I taught for 6 years (1963-1969).
