Susan's Story
Married for 35 years to Kent Alderfer. I have one daughter, Megan, who went to school at University of Vermont and did her graduate work at University of Pennsylvania. She recently got married in Germany, a truly magical experience.
I am a retired corporate photographer for Merck and Company, relocated with my husband to Rockville, MD. We are very close to Megan and visit the beautiful museums in DC often. My corporate experience took me all over the world s...Expand for more
hooting for Merck, it was quite an experience. My husband and I spend 2 months in Vermont, in the winter, living in a small cabin in the woods. Kent teaches skiing at Stowe and I spend my time shooting and editing photos of the beautiful Vermont woods.
I am now working at a contemporary art museum in the DC Metro area as a Docent. A complete full circle for me from art school to corporate photography and research photography back to contemporary art. Perfect!
