Susan's Story
Hello, everyone! I got married within six months after graduating to my high school sweetheart, Robin. We will be married for 36 wonderful years in November. We were not blessed to have children of our own but have happily been honored to share in the lives of many of our friend's children as Aunt and Uncle. These children were brought into our lives due to being a military family. We have lived in five states and one other country while in the military (I was the dependent spouse.) The other country was the United Kingdom which I dearly love. I am somewhat of an Anglophile, you see. While in the UK the opportunity to travel was open. I have worked most of my married life in the retail industry. I have been a sales person, a buyer, a merchandiser, and a department manager. Several years ago the opportunity to leave retail came about. I now am an administrative assistant in a law firm. It has been a truly eye opening experience!
When Robin retired from the US Air Force we came back to Pensacola as our parents were still here. Both sets have sinced passed away but Pensacola was home again. We have a lovely house to call home and are active in our home church where we have been members most of our lives.
