Note from Susan Hi everyone! I am now retired having recently sold my concierge Audiology private practice in Creve Coeur, MO. Currently I am a board member of the City of Chesterfield’s Architectural Review Board. I am happily remarried for 25 years to Judel Lew DDS Together we have five children and seven grandchildren. We love to cook ( I am sous chef to Judel, our family’s “executive chef”) we love to entertain in our home … after all, we believe cooking is love made visible! To quote Craig Claiborne, “cooking is at once child’s play and adult joy… and cooking done with care is an act of love.” Our children and now two of our grandchildren love to cook as well! We have traveled a bit; to China, Russia, Northern Europe , Canada ( Quebec and Vancouver, Victoria/ Butchart Gardens) and Israel where judel lived from age 2-11 when his parents, Holocaust survivors immigrated to the USA in 1957. 3 states) but our hearts belong to Rehoboth Beach, DE. We are the parents of a rescued white cat, Lily Rose and have been parents to two white German Shepherds, Dakota aka Cody and Hope! There used to be a short run TV series called LONGSTREET starring James Franciscus who played a blinded insurance detective who had a WGS. I vowed that would be my choice of a pet. My first WGS was quite a lady, Bianca! I love to read! During the pandemic I started a zoom book club: some of my favorites are: The Return by Hisham Matar, The Immortal life of Henrietta Lacks, The Splendid and the Vile ,The Mercies, The Invention of Wings, In the Great Green Room, Raoul Wallenberg by Ingrid Carlberg , A Gentleman in Moscow, Red Notice and Personal Librarian by Terrific author Narie Benedict. We hope to attend the reunion. Would love to hear from classmates. I do have especially good memories of Springbrook which fortified me during very rough times. Hoping you all are well and happy!
