Susan's Story
I've spent all my life here in Falls Church with the exception of one year that my husband, Charlie, and I spent in Daytona Beach. We packed up and moved there the day after we married in 1971 but found it too hot and buggy. So we moved back here . I taught preschool for a few years and moved on to be a Teacher's aide in the Fairfax County school district. Charlie and I have one daughter, Wendy, who is married now and lives close by in McLean. She has two children, Jack and Sophia. Prior to their living in McLean they lived in London, England so we had the pleasure to traveling over there several times a year. We are truly enjoying our retirement and being grandparents. What a joy that is !!!
Hopefully one of these days we will all get together again and with any luck at all we'll recognize one another !!!
