Susette's Story
Life
Randy & I just celebrated our 19th anniversary. I am very proud of the fact that we have been married that long and have two beautiful children. Our daughter, Zoe, is about to turn 17 and will head off to college more quickly than I want to grasp. She is the antithesis of who I was in high school. School
Isn't it true how the old saying goes, "If I knew then what I know now..."? School was great fun and I feel privileged to have attended the same school from kindergarten through graduation. We were like a family. My favorite teacher will always be Mrs. Walker at Dunbar Elementary. We kept in touch for a very long time and I was honored that she came to my wedding. She was young and innovative and just all around awesome. She was only there for 2 years, but those of us who had her were privileged to know her. That was a fun class (I even have our class pic loaded on my photos so check it out and see who you can remember!) In high school, Ms. Darling was awesome. She loved the way I wrote and told me to keep on writing, which I try to do in my spare time. I still haven't written the next great novel, but I have lots of time!
