Susie's Story
Life
So, about my kids/grandkids/activities, etc.: I was very fortunate to be able to raise my 4 children on a cattle ranch in Colorado, and feel so blessed to see them grow into really great individuals. Two are horse trainers and my second oldest daughter is a coach and teacher in NM. She has been an extra in several movies, played professional "women's" football, is a boxer and a wrestler and also has 4 children. Her oldest, my oldest grandson, is Bo Nickal and has been ranked 1st and 2nd in the nation in his weight division for wrestling over the past few years. I'm a proud Nana, can you tell? I have 13 awesome grandchildren but there's just not enough room here to list all their wonderful attributes!! I have to say that I am very content with my life, I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart, keep busy with friends, kids, grandchildren, church and horse activities. I have 2 Australian Shepherd's named Jake and Shadow... and a pot bellied pig named Bacon. I also have a little mare I ride and do a sport called ranch sorting where you chase cows from one pen to another in numerical order as fast as you can!! It's great therapy!! I live on nearly 2 acres out in the country in southern Cal. ...Expand for more
I have a wonderful Christian church in Temecula (The Springs) that I'm involved in and feel really blessed to have found such a great pastor and group of friends. I won't be staying on this website much longer but will stay in touch with my North High friends via my personal email list. I hope to get together with everyone again really soon. It was such a nice reunion last year and so appreciate the effort you all went through to attend. I am in the middle of getting a divorce.... my marriage only lasted 8 months. And even though I feel like a real loser getting another divorce, I also am proud of myself that I learned a lot and realized it was not a healthy marriage and got out just in time. I ignored so many red flags going into the marriage and you just shouldn't do that. I was unequally yoked which was the number one problem. So, the journey goes on and we learn and relearn. I'm thankful for God's mercy and grace and look forward to spending eternity with Christ Jesus!! Well, take care and God Bless you and your family. Remember that help is just a prayer away!!
Moving to Tennesse close to Josh Lyons, my son.
