Suzann's Story

As a mother of 5 and a grandmother and a GREAT GRANDMOTHER of a darling little girl born 6-17-15 and whose numbers keep growing I haven't had time to get old or lazy! After Jerry and I were divorced I have been a single mother, raising the youngest 3 children and now co-raising my granddaughters. Elizabeth Jane was born February 2003 and 9 years later in May of 2012 Emily Noel entered out family. I have managed to bounce back from just about every bump in the road of life, changing as I grow. The hardest bump of all has to be having a wild and vibrant son die when he was only 32 in 2008. Geoffrey is/was #4 in the line and defintely was not the quiet predictable child that the others are and were! I miss him everyday. He was a very important part in our lives. Jonathan and Julie live in Paris, TX with their son Jackson who was born February 21, 2011, Elizabeth was thrilled that his birthday is the day after hers. They are down here about once a month so I get to see Jackson grow as well as the girls who live here in Arlington. I jokingly say that my oldest is 48 and my youngest is 2 and a half sin...Expand for more
ce I am the co caregiver of both girls. It does keep me young and things are sure different than when I was raising the first group! I am retired and have recovered from several heart attacks but still have to take it easy and watch the stress level . If I thought the fight with two rounds of cancer was rough, dealing with bouts of MS is something else let me tell you! I enjoy life I n Texas - I have been here since 1990, but it is not home and I miss my Elkhart friends quite a bit. My Texas friends are fun to have but the history the Elkhart bunch has goes back a lot of years. I am on Facebook much more than I am on this site - I enjoy all the classmates I have reconnected with through Facebook and all the new friends I have made from all over. IF you are on Facebook, look me up! I was looking forward to returning home for my 50th High School Reunion in July, but emergency surgery and a LONG recoup time changed those plans. I am PLANNING on coming back in May of 2016 when my oldest is getting married, hopefully no more emergencies change my plans! Life goes on and fortunately so do I!

Before I put a base and a front piece in the window boxes. Originally the pots fell through! And now you can see the design on the wire planter/window boxes!

Dressed and ready to go eat! Think she has her seasons mixed up. She needs a rainhat not a snowhat!
This is how Emily eats an apple!
Have no idea when she moved from the bedroom to the living room. Apparently the storm made the decision to move closer to my room!
If we sit here long enough we might get some real food!
