Suzanne's Story
I was new to Center in my senior year, 1966-67. I moved from Omaha. I was known as "Sue:; now I use my full name, Suzanne. Back then my main interests were Spanish and art. I went to KU and them UMKC. Got MA in English from Univ. of Chicago. Lived in Chicago 1975-1989. Now live in Knoxville, TN. Have worked as an academic advisor and a journal and book editor. Jack Ed, Mitch. Married to Stan Ivester, who I met in Chicago, since 1981. Besides my family and art, my chief interest is animals. We have 3 dogs right now who run the household. I'm sorry I didn't keep up with any of my friends from high school. Center was a friendly place, and everyone made me feel very welcome, if only for one year. I'd be happy to reconnect with anybody who remembers me! BTW I still speak fluent "Spanglish" and enjoy traveling in Mexico, My dh and I share a dream to retire in Jalisco near Lake Chapala.
