To my fellow “Classmates”, I truly consider it strange that of all the “time periods” we could “mark” as paramount to our lives, we choose to reflect on and remember “high school” as the “benchmark” period of our days! We plan, gather, and celebrate our past from those days forward, not grammar school, or college, but “high school “. Have you ever asked yourself “why”? It would be fascinating to know the answer to that and many other questions such as, how has life’ been treating you, where has your journey taken you, what important “life lessons” can you share, is God in your life, do you “serve” HIM, is HE important to your existence, or are you one of those “I don’t need anything or anyone else apart from me” types? Are you politically minded, spiritually motivated, involved in civic duty, or sitting on the sidelines comfortably complacent with letting someone else handle “the BIG decisions” , have you a conscience or something similar to one, any regrets for having bullied, belittled or put down one of your “school mates”, or is it just so far in the past it doesn’t matter anymore, you’ve moved on, buried your memories of injustice or has life taught you that to be the “servant” of all is greater than sitting as the King or Queen of all, have you experienced real trials, real pain, real heartache, real want, real need, or has life just been all rainbows, butterflies, and unicorns, have you been brought to a place of deep reflection, which has led you to repentance, ...Expand for more
