Suzanne's Story
Life
I spent about a year in Germany after graduation and then went to CSUS for a few years before going back to Germany in 1984. I started CSUS again but after a semester decided to move to Colorado with fellow classmate Christine (Perry) Watkins. I met my husband two days after he'd signed on with the US Navy. Within a few months we were married in May 1986. We lived in Illinois for a year, Rhode Island for 4 years,(during that time I graduated with a BA in Humanities and had my first baby, Cory now 21), we lived in Hawaii 3 years (during that time my husband got his masters degree and we had our second son Alex, now 17), we moved to San Diego for 4 years and had baby number three, Hannah who is now 14. We then moved to Spain for 4 years, then to La Maddalena, an island in Italy off the coast of Sardinia...Expand for more
for a year and a half, and to Washington state in 2004 where we retired from the Navy in 2006. We just celebrated 25 years of marriage with a trip to Europe for three weeks. It's hard to believe that it's been 30 years since graduation. I'm blessed to still have wonderful friends from high school days although Christine is the only fellow classmate of 1981 I still am in touch with.
I am very happy being married and being a mother. I've had lots of jobs over the years but staying home was my favorite. Since 2006, I have had my own home organizing business.
