Suzanne's Story
Same ole Suzanne... I was working for the police department until budget cut layoff. I also worked part time at the bowling alley but had to quit that. I had both hips replaced so now am bionic. Lol. . I have 5 kids and 11 grand kids that are the joys of my life. It is so fun being a grandma. If you haven't been back to Madras it is growing. Madras is changing if you haven't been back in awhile. They have have a movie theater again with 5 theaters. Of course for those who don't know there is now a prison East of town.
I'm single but kind of enjoying it. My youngest graduated in...2007 and has moved out. So far I'm liking Bend. I do have my 15 year old grand daughter living with me so that keeps me busy. She is a cheerleader at Mt View high schoo...Expand for more
l so I keep busy running her around I also have my 7 year old grand daughter here most of the time. I stay busy with church activities and of course spending time with the other grand kids and spoiling them rotten. I am lucky that some of them are close so I get to see them often.
UPDATE: August 2015 I have moved to Bend and am working at St Charles Hospital as lead communications tech. Kind of like dispatching so it was right up my ally. (I failed to mention I dispatched for Jefferson County for about 8 years) Not sure when I want to retire but loving working here and just loving life!!
