Suzanne's Story
I graduated from LA Tech in Fall 1997 and went straight onto grad school there. Got my Master's in Education in May 2000 to be a teacher. I married to Stephen Weeks (Jonesboro Hodge class of 92) in December 2001 and we have one son, Noah (3) and one on the way...due in July 08! Stephen is a Naval flight officer and we are currently stationed on the USS Harry S. Truman here in Norfolk/VA Beach, VA.
We have had a very exciting life so far We spent our first 3 years (2001-2004) together in Brunswick, Maine, where I taught school there at Brunswick Jr. High and Bath Middle School (mostly Jr. High science). Then we recieved orders to go to Italy (Sigonella, Sicily) for thre...Expand for more
e years...what a surprise! Living in Europe was really cool and we got to travel and vacation in many countries including Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, England and Scotland, and even Norway! We came home with a little "Sicilian souvenier" as we call him; our son Noah was born in Sicily in April 05.
We are very happy to be back in the States now and living in the very cool city of VA Beach. Stephen is deployed to the Middle East, but is expected home in early summer. Our family looks forward to our newest addition, a baby girl, due in mid-July 08 and we also expect to receive our next set of orders; hopefully to Jacksonville, FL. Will keep you posted!
