Suzanne's Story
Life
I'm in Melbourne, FL, married for 19 years with one son, 17. A few years ago we moved from Rochester, NY, where I'd been since 1990.
I'm a Software Quality Engineer at a company that develops military radios.
School
I was "average above average" in grade/high school. I did pretty well, and was in the "above average" classes, but was not in any Advanced Placement courses. I think it was because I did not study very hard. Too busy socializing.
I was in the band. I played flute and oboe in the concert band, and sousaphone in the marching band. I was going to...Expand for more
major in music in college, until I met a nuclear engineer who convinced me to get into a more technical field. Makes a more secure living.
I took classical dance lessons all the time I was in grade/high school, and continued for my initial year in college. Every once and a while I consider doing some more dance study, but I never get around to it.
Workplace
Since getting my BS in Computer Science in 1990, I've been a software engineer in Rochester, NY. I worked at Xerox for 11 years, Kodak for 1.5 years, and am now at a small company called Renal Solutions, Inc.
