Suzy's Story
Life's been good to me so far!! After Carlmont I went to CSU,Chico and earned my BS in Recreation Adminstration. Fun place to go to school, really fun to get a degree in recreation!! I met my husband, Paul in my recreation classes. We went our seperate ways for a few years as I worked for the Tahoe City recreation department for two summers and did my internship at a resort in Florida. Paul and I got married in September 1994. I worked as the Youth Services coordinator for the Town of Danvillefor 7 years. or teens. In 1997 we welcomed our daughter Joy Elizabeth into our family. In 2000 we welcomed our son Matthew Thomas. At this time I quite working full time and started a child care business out of my home. CRAZY!! That lasted about two years! Yikes! I now spend time volunteering at my kids school, coaching soccer and baseball, and enjoying what life in suburbia has to offer. I do work as an independent contractor with 5 city recreation departments teaching babysitting classes to children ages 10-14. My kids are 10 and 8, great ages, and in September I'll be married for 14 years!! Hard to believe, I still feel so young!
