Most people who knew me "then" would find the personality has not changed much but oh my, the package has!! On the positive side I've grown much less judgemental (what a freeing concept), much more patient, much more tolerant and wisdom definitely does come with age. I'm glad I've lived long enough to make the changes in my life I always hoped for. I think it happens when we see things in our children that are reflections and that is a strong impetus to make some changes. I have loved, and continue to, my life very much. I wish my weight was not an issue but I'm thankful for a healthy body and mind, and, so far, no debilitating medical issues. Retirement has been exactly as we had hoped for and worked hard to achieve. We make the most of what we have and make sure we help wherever we can. I'm in no hurry for this life to be over but I do believe in the promise of eternity. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel bathrooms and add on a bedroom. My dream home would be as happy as this one!. They remember things much differently than I do!
