Sydele's Story
Life
The summer after graduation in 1971, I moved out of my parents home and was determined that I could make it on my own. I did for the most part, but probably had a little too much fun in those days! I was in and out of Cal Poly, and worked full time at Ameron, El Monte, a pipe company. I started working in the electronics industry in 1975 in Anaheim, and was relocated to the Bay Area for work in 1986. I have been selling advertising and multimedia marketing tools to high tech companies since 1988. I have enjoyed a very rewarding and lucrative career. It's been fun and I've met lots of interesting people including my husband!
I am married to a wonderful man named Bob Starr. I have a fantastic son, Josh, who is 26, and a fabulous daughter, Katy, who is 21. I also have three wonderful stepchildren, Chris, who is 38, Karey, who is 36, and Nicole, who is 33. Chris is married to Danielle and we have two granddaughters, Emma and Jocelyn. Karey is married to Rachel and they have our youngest granddaughter, Amber. Nicole is married to Shawn.

ar Wolf Run Golf Course). We have a second residence south of Sedona, Arizona, where we get to enjoy several weeks at a time in the red rocks. Bob and I both plan to work remotely for a year or so, then we plan to retire fully. I am semi-retired, but still working part-time representing a small electronics publisher. Unfortunately, I've lost both of my parents, but both of my older brothers (Ken and Bernie) still live in Southern California, and I talk with them frequently. I don't get to see them as often as I'd like, but we all try to get together at least once a year. I've added a fairly current picture for those people who went to school with either of them (from May 2006).
All in all, I am VERY satisfied and happy with my life, and very proud of my family. Now the plan is to stay fit and healthy so we can enjoy our kids, our grandkids, our travels...and whatever else may come our way! ;>)
I've lost touch with all of my high school friends. I see some of the names and remember the "growing" times. I hope some of you will check in and say "hello" and let me know how life has treated you and yours.
