Sylvia's Story

While going into my senior year at St. Elizabeth I met my future husband Bill Rose. At the end of my senior year we were married at St. Elizabeth Church. We have two children, Debbie and Doug. I lost my beloved Bill on August 14, 2014 after 52 years of being married to the most wonderful man I could have ever married. The picture that is attached is a picture of our 50th. wedding anniversary. I recently returned from a trip to Montana to visit my sister and her husband. We also ventured into British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. Canada i...Expand for more
s a beautiful place and I was able to meet many of their friends who live in different areas of Canada. I am once again volunteering this year at the Religious Education Class at St. Dominic's School. I truly enjoy working with the second grade class, helping them to understand their Catholic faith. I too have learned more about my faith working with these children while helping them with receiving their first confession and first holy communion. I hope you enjoyed my brief story and I wish all of you God's blessing and Peace. Sylvia Rose
