Sylvia's Story

Loved playing flute in High School with my friends, Adrienne B. and Joe L.. Received my Music Therapy Degree at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, Winchester, VA... later moved to Central California off the Monterey Bay to learn World Beat music, dance and play volleyball. Became a Psychotherapist / Counselor and have worked largely in Non-Profit organizations ...Expand for more
until the past several years. Now I travel to Military Installations to provide support and counseling to Active Duty Service Members and their families. My partner, Ned, and I enjoy traveling to France to visit his family and recently enjoyed hiking along the Italian Mediterranean Coast. I miss my music but it all comes back when I visit my family in Columbia.
