Sylvia's Story
Life
Retired from Oakland University January 2005. Have lived in the same house on Maceday Lake in Waterford Michigan for 40 years. Have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Married Robert Sigler, class of 55 in April 1962. Went to Hawaii for our 25th anniversary and on an Alaskan cruise in June 2001. Went to Krakow Poland for our son, Rick's wedding in May 1995. Enjoy traveling (searching for lighthouses). Dorles Rains, Glenda Rhew, Carol Leightley and I met at Dixie Landing in Disney World for a reunion in February 1999. We had a ball.

I also became a member of the DAR last August. My patriot came from Sullivan County Pennsylvania.
My husband of 43 years, Bob, passed away on March 25, 2005 (Good Friday). It has left such a hole in my life.
I was on the committee planning our 50th reunion and reconnected with one of our classmates, Dennis Warren. We were married in Anchorage Alaska on Jan. 7, 2008. He is selling his condo there and we will make our permanent home in Michigan but visit Alaska.
