Sylvia's Story
Well, I'm definitely not the person I was in High School. Then I was a skinny little ballet dancer. Now I am a wife, mother and grandmother. In 1978 I was in an auto accident and the car rolled over on top of me. I went through 17 surgeries when the doctors said there was nothing else they could do and I was on 120 mg. of morphine at the time! So they sent me to a pain clinic where they said the answer was to implant a morphine pump which I did. Well, a year ago in 2007 I was on 42 mg. ...Expand for more
of morphine in the pump and still had to take 30-40 mg. orally so I still didn't have a life! I had to retire in '98 because of it, I couldn't drive and was just barely existing. Now, just after being on a nutritional product for 2 1/2 years my morphine is down to just 3.5 mg. in the pump and I am off all my oral drugs which amounted to 6 prescriptions. Now I am enjoying life again! I am very active in my church and am able to be active, I do whatever I want! Never would have believed it!
