Syndi's Story
Life
Lets see...... In 1983 I moved from New Berlin Wisconsin to Illinois with my boyfriend at the time who now is my husband of some 20 years. I married Ken in 1985. In August of 1987 my son Jeff was born. In Nov. of 1990 my daughter Amanda was born. In 1992 we all moved from Illinois to Texas. In 1995 we moved again to New Mexico.
I currently work as a commercial loan officer at a local bank. I have been there for the last 10 years. My husband Ken works for a National Laboratory. My son Jeff will graduate this year from high school.
I love hiking in the mountains and canyons next to my home with my dog Jaks. I also love to camp as well.
I miss Wisconsin's green grass, tall trees, corn fields and the many lakes I used to love to swim in.
Although the mountains are beautiful here, New Mexico is a desert. so things are pretty, dry, sandy and brown most of the year. I love the weather though.

Workplace
Of course during High School i worked at McDonalds. Still to this day I can't stand McDonalds french fies. I did a little telemarketing right out of high school for Evergreen Lawns.
After moving to Illinois, I worked for George Printing. I was fired from there. Boy was that boring. I never realized how making copies all day long could drive someone insane!!! I then got a job working for Hair Professionals. I did administrative work and then financial aid.
When I moved to Dallas, I worked at Alladin Beauty College also doing financial aid.
When I moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico, I took a job working for Los Alamos National Bank, as an assistant to the VP of the Commercial Loan Department. 6 years ago I was promoted to a Commercial Loan Officer and that has been what I have been doing ever since.
As a Commercial Loan officer I approve multi-million dollar loans to finance office buildings, shopping malls, hotels etc.
