More about Talitha:"Born in Detroit but raised in Oakland, CA from the age of 3, Nikita developed an interest in writing from her early child hood years; she began collecting writing journals in which she used to document her dreams and poetry. She later caught the bug for acting and did various stage plays in the bay area along with 2 low budget films and eventually moved to Los Angeles to forgo her desires in the acting field. With numerous stage plays, TV shows, and commercials under her belt; she broadened her desires and took on other entities in the entertainment field such as working for a talent agency and eventually opened up her own business and becoming a casting coordinator for multiple TV and live audience shows. ed, Steel of Fire. Soon after, she joined Leila Steinbergs’ writing workshop/ open microphone sessions which allowed her to formulate weekly “pieces” and perform them in front of a live audience. It was there at the workshop that she developed a poem which later became her 2nd book entitled, “Too Good to Be True”; which actually came from a dream that she has hopes to one day be a movie. Today, Nikita and her family reside in the Bay Area while she continues her ambitions as a writer and is currently working on her 3rd book. Her future goals, in addition to writing books, are to venture into screen writing and movie production.
She has since learned that achievement of ones’ dreams is a “developmental process” that doesn’t stop at self gratification. She believes that you need to have a clear vision of your “dream life” from beginning to end and have a “purpose” for it all. Her “purpose” for success in the entertainment industry is to one day be able to help others who share the same dreams she has and assist in helping them to develop the skills and knowledge base needed to “make it” by opening up a workshop of her own.
She strongly believes that the key to success is to keep God in your life in whatever you do and in doing so; she still remains afloat of it all through prayer, faith, support, and most of all love.".
