Tamara Brush:  

Life In 1978 I married Daniel Brush. I was still unsure as to what I really wanted to do with my life. In 1982 my son Dale was born and in 1985 my daughter Alyssa was born. In 1985 Dan rejoined the Army and we spent the next 7 years living in a variety of places, including Germany. Having lived in Santee for the majority of my life, the moving every 2 years was a bit disconcerting. We returned to the States in 1992 and Dan got out of the Army on the early out program. I discovered that I enjoyed the law and upon my return enrolled in the paralegal program at our version here in Albuquerque of Grossmont College. I graduated with honors in December of 1995 and began my career as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant. We were divorced in 1997 after trying to make the marriage work despite several affairs on his part and problems with alcohol.
