Tamara's Story
I got married Christmas 75, finished HS in Hammon. Been married for 32 years! 2 great daughters and 1 grandbaby. Of course, he's adorable! Just like Nana T. I've had a quite a few jobs in my last 31 years of being out of school. I've owned my own business and from there I started catering and baking wedding cakes, birthday cakes, etc. My business has grown, I'm ready to retire from that and spend time with the new little man in my life. He lives in Texas, too far away for a first time nana. I currently work for HeadStart, that's my day job for insurance and then I have been an EMT-Intermediate for the past several years. and he runs trucks for the oil field. We are on the go constantly and we are always tired! I wonder why? My oldest daughter is an x-ray tech and does C-scans, and is currently on medical leave with her new baby. (May be permanent because she likes being at home!) My youngest daughter will graduate from SWOSU from Weatherford in Dec. 08. I'm proud of both of them and my family is the light of my life! GOD is AWESOME! One of the craziest things that I did in high school was we had went on a DECA trip to Dallas and on the way home we decided to see how many people we could fit in the bathroom on the greyhound bus. We knocked out the back window going doing I-35, luckily no one was sucked out of the window. Pretty stupid, too! Mr. L. A. Shepherd was the greatest teacher and sponsor.
