Tami's Story
Life
I have two boys ages 17 and my youngest is 13 and they are my life. I still live in Christopher, just down the road from where I grew up. There is never a dull moment around here. There is ALWAYS something going on and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Dylan my oldest is a Junior this year and Ryan IS in 7th grade. The boys are now keeping me busy with their sports. I all so well remember those days practices and games. I still like to play sports myself, it just hurts more now. I never understood why mom said she used to love to go sit out at my softball games or any game for that matter. The dealing of the bugs, the heat, etc. There was so much her and dad could have been doing. I fully understand now and there is nothing better. And I also have found out why do you don't sit anywhere under a light! :-) Life is too short and you only have one shot at it. You blink and those days are gone. The boys are involved in Football, Flag Football, Basketball, Baseball, Gymnastics, and Track (I still haven't forgot how sore that first week of track makes you!!!!! ) :-). Then in the summer we have all the camps. And when we do get a free minute, we do like to get away. Time has been pretty limited lately...Expand for more
, (it seems the older they get the less time you get) but we try to cram in small trips here and there even if it is just a Cardinal's or Blue's game or a just a camping trip here and there.
School
Wow, high school, and with Dylan there now, it sure brings back a lot of memories. That was probably one of the best times of my life. I know we should have gotten into a lot of trouble or a lot more than we did, or consider ourselves very lucky of still being alive (or at least not being beat to death by our parents)!;-). I am sure Chris and Kerry and Mis, and probably a few others can remember some of those times. Thinking back, there isn't much I would change if I had to do it all over again. There are a lot of good memories there.
Workplace
Early this year I made a move with my job. I am still coding, billing and consulting, but now I am employed by the same office I was contracted with and have worked with for the last 7 years, but I am just in house now. I am also doing some coding/billing/consulting on the side. I love what I do. My job is never the same thing on any given day. The rules change daily and it is a challenge, and anyone who knows me, knows that is right up my alley. I can't imagine doing anything else.
