Tami's Story

Life I am happily married to Pete since 1991 who works for the power company in Lewisville, Tx, just north of Dallas. He is a lineman who has been with the company since 1987. We have 5 children, 3 are from my first marriage. They are Christopher (28) who is married to Chryssa and they have 2 children Michael Lynn, 5 and Brayden Adam, born Nov. 7, 2008 and they live in Alamogordo, Jason (25) also lives in Alamogordo and is married to Amanda, Rebekah (23),she lives in Savannah, Georgia and Tara (20) and Taylor(16) both of who live with us here in Flower Mound. I still work as a vet tech in a emergency pet clinic about 5 minutes from our home. I have been doing that for approx. 10 years now. We enjoy spending time with the kids and just relaxing. We have now lived in Flower Mound for approx. 7 years and lived in Alamo for 26+ years. School Well not much to say about this. iends I met over the years, including my 2 dear friends Kathrine Smith Eggers Boyter and Karen Beliel Eckart. We had some great times. How many of you remember my little lime green Vega? LOL College Peter and I both attended some college, but most was on the job training. Workplace I worked several places over the years, including fast food, restaurants, cleaning rooms and of course as a vet tech. Thanks to Dr. Darryl Leslie for giving me for first opportunity. I still believe as of today, was the best boss I have ever had. Thanks Darryl if you ever read this. Peter worked at his parents tortilla factory when he was a teen, worked at several electrical stores then has been with Texas New Mexico Power since 1987. Military Raised as a Air Force Brat and moved many, many times before settling in Alamogordo in 1975. Lived in Washington St, Hawaii, California, Holloman AFB(when I was 5), Wyoming and North Carolina. Peter was never in Armed Forces.
