I thought it might be fun to answer the Story Wizard questions in hope that others might do the same, so here goes:
1) How do you hope old friends remember you? Answer: Friendly.
2)I always wanted to be a (BLANK-1) when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a (BLANK-2) idea. As it turns out, they were (BLANK-3).
Answer:
BLANK-1 Gym Teacher
BLANK-2 reasonable
BLANK-3 correct.(but I'm now a nurse)
3) How do you blow off steam? Describe your favorite way to relax?
Answer: Do I have to choose only ONE way????? I can narrow it down to the top three, but will publish numbers #4 & #5: To blow off steam nothing beats hitting a punching bag! Favorite way to relax is in a hot tub (mine is broken-needs replacement).
4) What was the wildest thing you ever did in school? Answer: I got caught entering the building by Mr. Krop (YIKES!) on return from having lunch out at Pizza Wagon. I was carrying a covered paper cup filled with french fries and ketchup. He asked me where I'd been, and what I was holding. I told him I had to go out to my car to get this "dissected cow's eyeball (in the cup) for science"...I ...Expand for more
don't think he bought the story, nor did he insist on inspecting the cup's contents; he just sternly told me to "Get to class"...
Not very wild of course-Anything wild was limited to OUTSIDE of school.
5. If I am going to work somewhere, I need to have BLANK and BLANK and BLANK to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Answer: Support, Respect, and Trust.
6. Do you have a hero? Talk about where your inspiration comes from.
My hero is my daughter Julia. My life's work is dedicated to her memory.
13. Which teacher would you love to see and again and why? Answer: Mr. Bertucci, because he passed me in Chemistry, when it was questionable.
19. What happened to your first crush?
My first crush was "Chris" in the sixth grade(Mrs. Twitchell's class at Walsh). He is still a great guy, with a good sense of humor, and I'm happy to report, a solid citizen.
22. What's the weirdest job you ever had? Answer: Steam Pressing Men's Suits at Anton's Drycleaners (Nobscot).
27. Talk about your oldest friend, how you met and why you clicked.
Answer: Shelley (Livingstone).
We met when our families had both relocated to Framingham from out of state when I was 11, and Shelley 12. We clicked because we had/have so much in common. Anyone who knows Shelley, loves Shelley! We are still very close friends, and see each other often. Shelley's sons and mine, are also best friends!
That's All Folks!
Thanks for visiting, and remembering the best of me,
Tami
