Tami's Story
Life
I started going to a beauty college while i was still a senior. and graduated from there in 94. I have been doing hair since then (18years!). Right now i'm working at Great Clips in Gresham as a stylist and assistant manager (currently in training for managment). Every now and again i run into some Gresham High School alumni.
I haven't been married, yet, but have had a few long term relationships. I have two wonderful boys, ages 15 and 12. My oldest, Uriah, is in high school (David Douglas), and very atheletic. He plays football, and does wrestling and track, and keeps me busy going to all his games and meets. My youngest, Torren, is in the 6th grade, and has quite the personality. He too keeps me on my toes. I think he'll make a good lawyer or politition!!!
I've had the opportunity to do a bit of traveling, not overseas, but hope to one day. We do alot of camping and love white water rafting.

a more mature manner.
Workplace
I took on my first hairstyling job at the age of 19 at the loyd center at fredrick and nelsons upstairs in a tiny five chair salon called glemby's. From there i went to 3rd diimentions, then back to glemby's. from there i went to a barber shop on 64th and glison. the name of the shop was hair continues. didnt last long there as it was a comision shop and it wasnt very busy. i then went to montgomery wards at mall 205, didnt like the staf as they were very stuffy. found mmy way to perfect look in gresham at collge square i lasted four years there.i took two years off aafter that to try to raise my boys. i had to go back to work as they were driving me nuts and had to get out of the house. went to pperfect look at mall 205 and stayed there for eight years. in the midst of my career there i took on giving some basic clipper cutting classes and some flat top classes, as well as basic haircutting technique classes. i left them in 2000 and turned to great clips. i enjoyed my short two years there, but had to make some changes in my life. my next trick id like to perform is actually teaching at a hair college. my side job is fixing and building computers for family and friends.
