Life I married a 79' NK grad, and we have one daughter, who is 19. Our daughter is an ambassador for Free the Children so all of her free time is spent traveling to distant countries, making the world a better place. She will be graduating from college in June, holy cow! Now we are getting adjused to being empty nesters, and finding new ways to spend our free time. Bought a motorhome (i know how cliche) but we spend most of our travel time at drag races and classic car shows.(makes it a little less senior citizen) My husband has a small business and I am an author and speaker as well as a personal life coach. For the last 20 years I have worked in our family business, I homeschooled our daughter for 10 years and then she went off to college, I spent alot of time during those years contributing to local and global non profits, homeless teens, families in crisis, and foster kids, it was such an honor to share their lives. My friends would have labled me a severe workaholic, but the age of 40 led me to become more drawn to a slower pace. I am now writing my new book, titled "The Freedom to Flourish" I travel some to teach workshops and attend events, mostly just sharing my experiences and lessons, and being awed by the tremendoud strength and courage of the women of the world. In December of 08 we opened a full service florist in Poulsbo, see I said workaholic! But I wm having a blast seeing classmates from all years and learnign th efloral business.
