Tammara's Story
Life
I have had a very exciting life, full of twists and turns, ups and downs but at this time, I have a great job and a wonderful son. My only child is nineteen and in a private black college in South Carolina. I am currently unmarried (divorced) but dating. When I was in high school, education was not important to me, fun was. I later found a love for higher education and went back to school to earn two Master's Degrees and I am about to embark on the greatest challenge of all, a PhD in Human Services. I still love to have fun, I laugh all the time and I have never forgot where I came from or who I am.
My pets are birds but I love dogs also. I travel and I am thinking about relocating to Atlanta within the next two years. Chicago has been very good to me and I will always love this city.

I am an advocate for the homeless, and the formerly incarcerated. I am an activist and a lecturer for women caught in the welfare system.
Anyone reading my bio, I want you to know that my High School days were some of the best days of my life and although I may not remember all of your names, I will remember your faces and how you played a part in shaping who I am today. Hope to see you at the next class reunion.
