Tammi's Story

Life Greetings; I pray my words will find you well. I have three beautiful children; the oldest two are in college and my youngest is seventeen. I'm working on my master's of education and just published a book. "Forbidden Prayers" by Alexandria Pearl. I visited Dowagiac last November and met with my family and my cousin Scott Lamb and his family. I miss Dowagiac and plan on visiting again early summer or late spring. Went to St. Joe to the lighthouse and took some absolutely fantastic pictures. Have been thinking a lot about high school and the people with whom I went to school with. I had wanted to attend the reunion in 2003 but was unable to because of Meniere's Disease. It's an inner ear disorder that can cause vertigo and other disabling symp...Expand for more
toms. It comes in attacks and some are more severe than others; however I'm hoping it burns out soon. Will be visiting Dowagiac late September or October of 2006. Many hugs and prayers, truly tammi Workplace I've held man joys mostly in management. My last job besides writing was working with youths who had been incarcerated for an undetermined amount of time. I enjoyed working with kids but the justice system is another matter. I was offered a position as juv. officer in the system but turned it down. I preferred being out in the field with the kids and their families. Now I want to finish my Master's and teach on-line, or teach children. I'm not sure; kind of burnt out of the justice system. Still write and am working on a children's book.
