Tammie's Story
Life
After a long ballet career, my body started getting too old. I retired and became a corporate travel agent while going back to college double majoring in computer technical support/computer science. From there I went into computer technical support then became a software QA analyst for a company that developed software for the travel industry. I worked on the software for expedia.com, usair.com and many others. A year ago I left this glamour to manage the daily operations of my husband & I's flooring store in Garland, TX. ife is wonderful. We live on 2 acres outside the Dallas area right on Lake Tawakoni and although I was unable to have children, we have 2 yellow labs & two cats who are my kids. I am married to a wonderful man and still keep up with my ballet by taking class a few times a week and doing little performances here & there. Hubby & I are volunteer firefighters for our rural fire department where we live. Now that I have lived my lifelong ambition of being a ballerina, my next goal is to become wealthy enough so that rather spending my time having to work for a living, I can spend it doing charity & volunteer work.
