Tammy's Story
Tammy is from White Cross, North Carolina. She is married with Darrin Allred. Her schools include Orange High School. She later attended Alamance Community College (Nursing RN). She works(ed) at UNC cancer hospital, UNC Healthcare, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Tammy's interests include Cuddling, iPad, Patient advocacy, The Pittsburgh Steelers, UNC Chapel Hill, Unc basketball, Hines Ward, Hines Ward, Spartan Race. Music she likes includes Bill Engvall, Otis Redding, Temptations. Books she likes include Defeat Diabetes Now, The Haunted History of New Orleans: Ghosts of the French Quarter, Fifty Shades of Grey. Movies she likes include Redbox Instant by Verizon, The Heat, Peeples. TV shows she likes include The Chew, Save All My Children From being Cancelled, Duck Dynasty Fan Club.

I am a wife, mother of 2 wonderful kids who I am very proud of and a nurse with UNC Lineberger Cancer Center. I have been working with cancer patients since 1985 and never get tired of it. I am involved with Relay for Life for the past 2 years and a team captain and 1 year prior to that as a team member. I have been on the Board of Directors for the NC Lung Cancer Partnership and have been involved with them for about 3-4 yrs. I am the UNC team captain for the Partnership every year. I try to plan a fund raiser for UNCTeam every November. I want the best for my patients and would love to be involved in finding a cure or the ultimate treatment to help all my patients!! My family is first in my life and always.".
