Life After graduation I worked for my brother-in-law's computer business and continued in my adventures of Ice Dancing and Freestyle. In 1989 I joined Provident Mutual Ins. Co, as well as coaching figure skating on the side. I taught groups, Toddlers and Adults in Freestyle, Ice Dancing and figures. In late 1989 my life changed drastically as I was in a major car accident which left me badly hurt. After years of therapy I finally got back on the ice but had to stop competing in Freestyle. Ice Dancing was the only thing I had left due to the injuries I had sustained. I kept practicing and skating for myself to achieve the highest level in Ice Dancing that I could which is to get a Gold Medal. . In 1994 I felt I needed a change after all I had been through and sort of prove to myself that I could still skate. I decided to audition for Walt Disney's World On Ice. I auditioned, made it, and joined the show two weeks later in Newark, NJ. I have traveled all over the United States. WE spent 6 weeks in Mexico, 2 of which was learning the show in spanish. We met many people including celebrities such as LL Cool J. The cast of skaters were amazing people and we became a very close family since you live together 24/7. We changed cities every Sunday and performed 12 to 15 shows weekly. It was the most fun I've ever had and best experience; even though it was quite tiring at times. I was fortunate enough to enjoy the experience of performing in front of my own family and friends and thousands of people right here in Philadelphia at the First Union Center. I'd look out there hardly believeing that it's me out there living out one of my dreams. What an amazing high. Words cannot begin...Expand for more
