Life
My Spouse
I met Dan Dowell in February 1990 at a Church Singles get together. It was after a Ski Trip that our church singles group went on. Although, I did not get to go on the trip, the get together was a chance to get to see pictures and hear the stories about the happenings on the ski trip. We met that night and talked for hours. He called me the next day to ask if I would like to go out to Brunch sometime that week and I said yes. We were engaged 6 weeks later and married 6 months after that, in October 1990. We just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this year. How the time flies and I am so grateful to the Lord for bringing us together. His timing is perfect and we are happily married and very busy raising our family and serving the Lord together.
My Kids
We have 8 wonderful blessings from the Lord. Five girls and three boys. (Sarah-19, Caitlin-17, Aaron-15, Ian-13, Johanna-11, Emily-9, Karli 7 & Elias 4). We have homeschooled from the beginning and although it is a challenge, it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. In addition to homeschooling I am now working part time as an RN in a busy OB/GYN office.
We attend Grace Bible Church in College Station, TX. I am active in leading Women's Bible studies.

favorite memories are of the Powder Puff football games. I enjoyed high school, but couldn't wait to be done and move on with life. I graduated in 1985 and went to college at Grace College in Winona Lake, IN.
College
I attended Grace College in Winona Lake, IN from 1985-1987. My major was Business Administration with a minor in Finance. I roomed with my best friend from grade school, Becky Healy. Although I was far from my family, it was a great experience. I learned much about myself and my relationship with the Lord. I remembered many a long nights writing papers that I had procastinated on. I have so many good memories of my three semesters there and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I made some wonderful friends and although I have lost touch with many of them, I am hoping that as they read my bio. that they will get in touch and let me know how they are doing.
After three semesters at Grace College, I moved back home and took a break from school to decide what I really wanted to major in. I was accepted to the nursing program at North Harris Community College and began my schooling in the fall of 1987. I graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in May 1990. I took my RN licensing exam in June 1990 and passed. I worked as an RN at the Conroe Medical Center for about 1 1/2 years and 1 1/2 yrs ago, I began working part-time as an RN in a busy OB/GYN office.
