Tammy's Story
Life
In 1996 I worked at Opryland as a supervisor in the merchandise department. There I met Rajeev Sethi from Runcorn, Cheshire, England. We now have a beautiful 9 year old daughter. Her name is Carlie. Raj and I are no longer together, however we remain friends. Carlie and I traveled to England the summer of 2000 to meet her grandparents and travel. In 2006 we went back to England so Carlie could visit her grandparents and travel with her dad.
In 1999 I graduated from MTSU with a degree in education. I am certified to teach PreK-3 grade. After two years of teaching third grade I decided that teaching wasn't the career for me. Now I work for the Department of Children's Services i...Expand for more
n the Child and Family Unit as a foster care case manager. This is the hardest job I have ever had, but I love it. I have seen things that could cause the average person nightmares, however you can no longer "shock" me. I have seen it all and heard it all.
I am planning on going back to college soon to work on my Master's of Social Work degree. The first time I went to college I was fresh out of high school. The second time I had a baby, however I was still young. This third time around scares the crap out of me. I am older and Carlie is involved in the school choir, church choir, softball, track, Girl Scouts, and other things that her little heart desires. I have to keep her busy.
