Tanja's Story

I'm married to an Italian and we have a 7-year-old daughter who is in 2nd grade. My husband is from Italy, so we travel to Italy often as all of his relatives are there. From a previous marriage, I have a 23-year-old daughter (Amy) and a 22-year-old son (Scott). My daughter will be graduating with a degree in biomedical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. My son has entered the Army and goes to boot camp in February 2011. two eldest were growing up, I was my son's Boy Scout Den Leader, my daughter's soccer coach, and a "soccer mom" traveling all over the tri-state area and into Illinois to watch Scott's soccer games. Both Amy & Scott were in ballroom dancing in high school, and we traveled around the country going to their competitions. These days, Miss Katie keeps us very, very busy with ice skating, tap dancing, Brownies Girl Scouts, and Cherub Chimes practice.
