Tanna's Story
I have been married two times. I have 3 children. Bethany (30), Jordan (27), and Tona (25). They have given me 8 grandchildren. I moved away and lived in High Point, NC for 15 years. My mother died from breast cancer in June of 2003, and I moved back to Lenoir shortly before she died. Up until January 2008 I had been in a bad relationship for 14 years. In August of '08 I heard from a man who lives in Georgia, that I had been friends with in 1980-1985. We meet while working together at Pacemaker. I had thought of him over the years, but we had lost touch. He spent 4 hours one Sunday going through the phone book calling around trying to find me. He said he had never gotten over me. He came to see me in September, and we stayed in touch by phone. After I left the bad relationship, I moved to Tennessee with my cousin. We started talking every night for hours on end. We made a trip to visit him in GA at the end of Fe...Expand for more
bruary. My daughter Bethany and I made another trip down two weeks later. Our love for each other kept getting stronger and stronger. It scared me to death! I finally came to realize that I was in love with him. I also came to the conclusion that I had never really been in love before. I decided to not fight the feeling anymore. In March I moved to Georgia, and we were married July 4th 2009. He is so very good to me and I am happier than I have ever been in my life. His name is Keven Walker, and we live in the North Georgia mountains in a little place called Mineral Bluff. I never thought I would move away from Lenoir again, but God had other plans. Keven and I both feel that God brought us back into each others lives for a reason. I feel that reason is to make each other happy for the rest of our lives. Who would have thought that a quiet little preachers kid from Lenoir, could end up feeling like a princess.
