Tanya's Story
Life
Since graduating from Purdue, I moved to Charlotte, NC and lived and worked there until Sept 2003. I met my husband in Charlotte, we married in Oct 2002 and we moved to Tampa Florida in Sept 2003 to work at a project here. Since then, our community was bought out by developers and we came on board with them. We're starting a management company for condo communities and we've bought one of the condos on site. It's a great opportunity here in FL. The weathers great minus the hurricanes, but we've survived. We're hoping to eventually settle in Ft Myers. Update as of August 5, 2009
I am now the office manager for a vet hospital in Tampa. Wow, if I had known that working with animals was my calling, I would have definitely gone to the vet school at Purdue! I couldn't have a better job! We have also recently adopted another dog named Dutch. He is a wonderful addition to the family even though he is in his terrible 2s.
We have a great daughter in law and a beautiful grandson. Every now and then I miss good ol Lafayette, but then I remember the winters and whew! am I glad I live in FL!
