Tanya's Story
Life
Recently single, I live in the Round Lake area with my almost-eight-year old daughter. I am a first grade teacher at Ellis Elementary School in Round Lake Beach and love it! (Now I know first-hand what our teachers went through.) I am currently working towards my master's degree in education.
I spend as much time as possible with my daughter, whether it's going to the park, walking, biking, movies, or shopping.

Workplace
I graduated from Barat College in Lake Forest back in '95 with my bachelor's degree in elementary education and psychology. After that I was a substitute teacher for many years in the Round Lake schools. I married and had a child along the way and almost five years ago was hired as a full-time reading teacher at Ellis Elementary. I have since divorced, became a first grade teacher, and am having a wonderful time!
