Tara's Story
Well, those who know me know that I have been a mom forever. Jessica, Evan and Auguste. Besides raising my children, I have spent a lot of time in classrooms and working at the same time. I recieved an Associates Degree in Data Processing and immdeiately knew that although that's where the money was, it wasn't the place for me.
I obtained my certification for Emergency Medical Technician and worked for Abbott Ambulance for 6 years till half-way thru my pregnancy with Auguste. He was just too big and in the way to carry people up and down stairs. So with my love of driving, I became a courier with Access Courier. In the end, he was 10 lbs and 7 oz! er St, Louis that big - what a sight!! I stayed with them for 6 years also and put myself thru Nursing School and I am now an RN. I worked for BJC on a medicine floor (night shift), then RN/ Case Manager for BJC Home Care and am currently with Washington University with the Neurology Department.
My interests are withing the Latin Community and latin dancing. I now speak Spanish, but understand it less, although I am coming along. I take an interest in all foreign cultures, travel, outdoor activities, reading, news junkie (that's me), and riding my motor scooter.
If you have attended one of my schools or places of work, send me a line. I'm always good for a get-together.
