Tara's Story

Life I am retired. I love to travel the country, and do so whenever I can. I even bring my husband along on most trips! Bruce and I have two grown sons, who we are very proud of. This is a great place to live and work. There are always things to see & do here. Chicago is 2 hrs. south of here, and Green Bay is 2 hrs. north. I enjoy music (oldies & Classic country), movies, fishing, and needlepoint hobbies. I can always find something to do to keep me busy. Life is too short to sit back and watch it pass you by. e I worked at a home-improvement store for over 13 yrs & retired in 10/02 due to back problems. Hard to believe I had time to work before! I have had so much to do since then. I was a cashier, supervisor, & such for many yrs. Military Co E 738th maint.BTN. Was a clerk typist. I was also the bartender at the armory's bar. It was a period in my life that I wish I could go back to & freeze. I especially enjoyed going up in the choppers. I was learning to fly them. That was the best! I did my basic training at Ft. Jackson in 1974.
