Tara's Story
Life
After BHS, I headed to the University of South Carolina. I graduated from USC in '97 with a BA in Public Relations, moved to Cleveland for a year and then got a better job offer in Dayton. So I moved back and have been here since.
After three years in PR I decided that although I was good at my job I didn't feel like it mattered. So I decided to go back to school to get a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching first grade at a Dayton charter school for the past 3 year...Expand for more
s. I am currently working on my preschool special needs endorsement at Wright State. Some days it feels as if "professional student" should be my actual job (believe me, I've got the student loans to support that assertion).
I was married in October '01. Unfortunately it didn't work out and we divorce in August '04- though we get along better now than when we were married. No kids yet, though someday I hope to have them.
