Hmmm...I KNEW I'd need the elevator speech some day... My daughter (born 1994) and son (born 1993) moved from Houston to Asheville, NC in 1998 and lived there until 2007. ghter is into my son's friends. I am ecstatically happy with life and all is well. I've visited Houston only once since moving, so I suppose I will admit that I am a transplant. But, I will say that once a Texan, always a Texan. I miss TEXAS--not particularly Houston and its Buick-sizes mosquitoes--just Texas. Life is great.
