Tavie's Story
Life
Joined the Army the summer after graduation.
Married a guy from England in 1976. Daughter born 1980. Divorced in 1984. Remarried in 1985 to Tom Spivey, a design engineer with SW Bell Telephone who retired in 2002. Graduated from UT Tyler in 1991. Retired from the Army in 1999 with 27 years service. Daughter married in 1999 ...Expand for more
and has two girls. Built a house in Gilmer and doing a lot of traveling. Panama, Bahamas, London Rome, Thialand, and all over the US.
Started an all-female 50's singing group in 2006 called Shake, Rattle & Roll that took off quickly and we stay busy doing about 80 shows a year. Plans are to do a lot more traveling and enjoying life.
