Tawnya's Story
Well my life didn't turn out the way I thought it would, but then again does it really for anyone?
I got married right out of highschool. I was married for almost 8 years before a family was planned. I had my daughter but my marriage ended in a divorce with my daughter being only 5 months at the time. God has a strange way of working things out for us sometimes because I never thought I would be divorced and certainly not a single mom. The first 2 years were very hard, but through this whole journey, God has done many wonderful things in my life. He has provided and taken care of us during these years and still is. The best and most incredible blessing has been my daughter. She is currently 7 years old and being a mom is one of the most awesome yet challenging jobs that one could ask for. She is the light in my life.

a single mom raising a daughter. We share our home with 2 small dogs (who love to travel with us) ,a cat and a lopped eared bunny. We are very close to my family and my parents love being grandparents. We are have a wonderful church family as well. I am a small group leader in the womens Bible study that we attend weekly. My daughter is also involved in the childrens programs as well. My sister and I share the nursery duty once a month. Almost a year ago I became part owner/manger of a well established mailing business of almost 20 years. This is a family business so I have my daughter with me all the time. She will be running the business soon :) This allows me to homeschool her and give her the attention she needs.
As you can see my life didn't turn out the way I had planned, but I am very grateful and thankful for what I have been given. I am fullfilled and very happy. Life is pretty good.
