Tawnya's Story
Life
I am a stay at home mom to 8 kids and two stepchildren. My stepchildren and my two oldest kids are grown and independant. My husband Rod and I are adoptive parents to 6 kids (5 boys and 1 girl), ranging in age from 4 years to 12 years. My husband and kids are the center of my life and I love it. Being a mom is the best thing I have ever done. I am so grateful that I have been able spend most of my adult life at home raising my children to be happy, productive, and contributing members of society. married and has two children. Being a grandma is so much fun! His daughter is engaged. My oldest son is getting married in August. Our second son is a college graduate and is doing well. The rest of our children are still at home. They are the joy of my life. My husband and I are busy and active members of our church. We find that having a deep religious foundation makes raising children in our society so much more enjoyable and we receive so much guidance through spiritually based parenting.
