Edna Prince:  

Hi my name is Edna Taylor-Prince. I am a 1975 graduate of Lompoc High School. I was in the drill team and a varsity cheerleader my senior year. I just recently returned to Lompoc on December 29, 2011, due to my mother, Mildred Taylor passing. She went on to be with the lord after living a beautiful life giving to others. The memories of my mother will live on forever. Lompoc has changed somewhat. Seeing the high school brought back good memories. The high school structure has not changed. Now living in a big city in Virginia its was nice to come back to the small town of Lompoc and still see kids playing football in the local shopping center around midnight. People walking down the main streets instead of riding busses. Jack in the box still on the corner of H street with those same delicious tacos! The picturesque view of the beautiful mountains and ocean are breath taking. When I moved from Lompoc in 1979, I traveled to many places with my husband and kids. My children, Larry Jr is stationed in Korea, my son Lonell is living in Alexandria, Va, my daugter Melissa graduated this June from college in Roanoke, Va, My children are a blessing to me, and Im so very blessed to have a supportive husband who retired from the military.
